Customer Review:Mulchin' MarvelThis mower munches grass and spits it out cut up so fine it doesn't show. Just what I wanted! It has plenty of power. Wow! No pollution! Like anything else, you need to learn how to use itI've owned this mower for about six weeks now and am happy with it. It's my first electric. I bought it over gas to avoid the hassle of buying gas and filling the tank, a minor hassle but a messy one. You definitely need to "manage" the cord, but once this is learned, it's only slightly more difficult than gas. Starting this mower is as easy as turning on a light, a definite improvement over gas, probably making up for cord management.
I use one or two 50' extention cords, depending on how far away from I am from an outlet. When using two, there is a noticeable reduction of power when starting up, but I have not noticed a problem when mowing. If the grass is deep, I go slowly and cut a narrower swath so I don't bog the engine down too much. I suspect that I wouldn't have to do this if I had gone with gas, but come on, I'm mowing the lawn not plowing a field. At some point about any mower will bog down so it's a matter of knowing how to use the machine. Overall, there is certainly enough power to handle my yard.
Some more minor positive points are the simple way to adjust the height, and the fact that it's relatively quiet. Your neighbors won't want you to crank it up at 7:00 AM, but it's considerably quieter than gas.
black decker lawnmowerbought subject item in jan 03so iwouldnt have to screw around with gas and oilaswell as noise-----since it has so few parts it would last a long time------to my disappointment it lasted for 2 plus seasons it looks like the motor got too hot and burnt up...one of the main reasons i bought because of their reputation---i think it would be fair for them to replace--please reply---glenn cummings 167 essex rd. lexington,oh44904 Keywords: Landscaping Tools; Mowers; Electric Mowers; (Lawn Mowers); (Lawnmowers);

Stanley 33-425 Powerlock Tape Rule 25' x 1" Blade
FuturesBelt clip fastened on back of case;Mylar coated blade for added durability;Heat treated spring for longer life;Positive blade lock will not creep while taking measurements;Graduated in 16ths of an inch;
Customer Review:use it everydaythis is the only type of tape measure that i will buy. they just last longer than the rest. Must Have for the Do-It-YourselferYou have to have a tape measure for do-it-yourself projects. I have three tape measures myself, including a Stanley. The belt clip is very handy, particularly when you are carrying lumber or are going up or down a ladder. The mylar coated blade helps keep the tape from rusting. A heat treated spring is a must for long life of any tape measure. I like the tape lock on this tape measure too. A tape measure I have from another company tends to allow the tape to move.
Stanley has become a well-known brand with quality products. I own several Stanley tools, including this tape measure. I recommend this one highly.
Stanley is the best!I have been using Stanley products for years. Very dependable,long lasting and very useful around the house. I would never use anything but Stanley! Keywords: Measuring & Layout Tools; Tape Measures;

Mayhew 41500 TWEAKER
FuturesMulti-use tool;Fits snugley around any 2 inch lumber;Framers best friend;
Customer Review:The perfect tool for framing with non-engineered lumberAn awesome tool that does exactly what it says. Entirely recommended. You will get a lot of use out of this anytime you are framing.
I find the easiest way to use it is to nail the back side of the stud into place, then use the Tweaker to move the front side into alignment and nail it. The thing just worksI used the tweaker the day I received it to build a deck I was working on, it really helped to straighten to joists before nailing. Simpy put the thing just works! Improved version of a most useful simple toolWhat a great idea to put nail slots in the fork ends! My old Hart lumber bender is a very similar design, and works well to wrestle the sort of firewood being sold as lumber these days, but it would have been even handier if its maker had thought to include nail slots.

Black & Decker NST2018 Grasshog 12", 18-Volt Cordless String Trimmer/Edger
FuturesLightweight design makes it easy to use by most everyone;12-inch cut path cuts more area per charge than other cordless trimmers;AFS System uses centrifugal force to automatically advance line;Two 18-volt NiCad battery packs provide plenty of run-time per charge;Telescoping shaft adjusts for perfect length;
Customer Review:Good for an average yardI have an average yard and it works fine. The two batteries are a big bonus though I never have to use both. Living in Texas after 15 minutes outside it's time to take a break so I don't get the whole yard done. I do it in sections and every few days I whack some area my mower can't reach. I had the 12 volt model but this one is lighter, has 2 batteries and I like the trimmer/edger feature. I would not recommend this if you have a huge yard and plan to use it more than 30 minutes at a time. Best Trimmer I've UsedConsumer Reports gave this trimmer a bad review about two years ago. Boy, are they wrong! I've had mine about four years and it has been terrific. The only part I had to replace was the snap in string cover which costs about $2.00 at Home Depot (2005). And that's because we bumped numerous times by mistake; it has an automatic string feeder. Consumer Reports; I think you goofed! Great ProductI have purchased several weed trimmers in the past, but I have found cordless to be the only solution. I own a two lot property and it does require a lot of work. This trimmer cuts almost everything I want; a few half inch weed can stand up to it, but it even rips out the dirt and rocks that have settled at the edge of my sidewalks. I have even used it to chop vines and trim small hedges. I have a hedge trimmer, but it's quicker to just use this...since it works. The battery is the only reason for four stars, it just doesn't seem to last long. Maybe after I get my lawn in order it will...it might be I'm working it too hard. Twelve inches is plenty of cord.
I really think that unless you are a professional you should buy this product. It costs less than it's competition and does the job...even better than I expected. I plan to purchase an extra charger to keep the batteries coming, but honestly the gas trimmer I had required fill-up almost as often. The auto feed feature is great too. The cord lasted a long time and I didn't have to spend half my time trying to untangle jams. Overall I really love this trimmer.
